Yasmina Alaoui è nata a New York (USA) nel 1977 da padre marocchino e madre francese. Attualmente vive e lavora fra Marrakech e New York. Ha studiato Arte al Carousel du Louvre di Parigi e ha ottenuto una laura in Scultura al William and Mary College Williamsburg, Virginia. Oltre ad aver esposto all’Institut du Monde Arabe di Parigi, l’Opera Gallery (Dubai e New York), la Leila Heller Gallery di New York, il MACAAL Museum di Marrakech, o il Musée de L’art contemporain Mohamed VI di Rabat, ha anche partecipato alla Dakar Biennale (2018) - dove ha ricevuto il “Award for Cultural Diversity” - e alla Biennale di Marrakech (2016, 2012 e 2008).

Yasmina Alaoui was born in New York in 1977 of a Moroccan father and French mother. Currently she lives and works in between Marrakech and New York. She studied art at Carousel du Louvre in Paris and received her degree in Sculpture at William and Mary College, Virginia, USA. As well as showing her work at l’Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, the Opera Gallery (Dubai and New York), the Leila Heller Gallery in New York, the MACAAL Museum in Marrakech and the Musée de l’Art Contemporain Mohamed VI in Rabat, she has also participated at the Dakar Biennial (2018) – where she received the
