Emanuela Fiorelli | Espace expression

The exhibition pays tribute to the artistic events of the Gallery Denise René, personified by its charismatic founder, and to the evolution of the artistic line defended by the gallery since its founding in Paris in 1944. By exposing more than 50 artists, the exhibition brings together the leaderships personalities of geometric abstraction and young artists who give a new impetus to this artistic movement.

This exhibition will be the first to be organized in this new exhibition space in the heart of the Wynwood Art District in Miami.

The exhibition includes productions of contemporary art inspired by the work of the artist Mattia Preti, celebrated on the occasion of the fourth centenary of the birth.

The artistic project starts with an analysis of the components of the corpus of the seventeenth century painting, of which Preti is one of the greatest exponents, "the union of light and shadow, of body and soul."

It will be the sculptor Mauro Staccioli to inaugurate the "Scuderie di Palazzo Bicocchi", the new exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art by the City of Pomarance.

The exhibition "Mauro Staccioli. Preview of the sign", sponsored by "Associazione Aperture"  and "All Around Art", will present a selection of drawings and sculptures by the artist from Volterra, curated by Sergio Borghesi and Simona Santini.

The "Museo Carlo Bilotti - Aranciera di Villa Borghese" will host the exhibition "White&White in the dialogue between Korea and Italy", organized by the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, curated by Vittoria Biasi and Haeng-Ji Kim, and supported by "Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali e Centro Storico - Sovrintendenza Capitolina".

The selection is the result of collaboration between Hyung-Min Chung, director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, and Vittoria Biasi. The latter caters since many years her research as art historian to the white monochrome of the twentieth century.

The exhibition "The paradox of the surface" is a double exposure of Emanuela Fiorelli and Paolo Radi. In this case, "double solo-show" is not just a space divided between two similar - or dissimilar - artists, but a real confrontation that reflected in the works a constant parallel in time of life.

Indeed, if we consider Fiorelli and Radi not as two artists, but as a "couple" of artists (in fact, in life are), their existential condition adds to their work a context that changes its perception.

Host of the fourth appintment of "Martedì Critici" at the Pecci Museum in Milan will be Giovanni Albanese (Bari, 1955). Eclectic artist, draws its imagery playful imagery from different objects, including gears or mechanical parts, recovered from workshops, scrap yards or flea markets. With these technological scraps no longer working (including electric motors and appliances) the artist invents sculptures vaguely testing dada, surreal and neo-pop.
