Gretchen Scherer | Indianapolis, 1979
Gretchen Scherer ha ricevuto un BFA presso la University of Illinois a Chicago e un MFA presso l'Hunter College nel 2006.
Assegnataria del Graf travel grant to Berlin, ha partecipato alla Skowhegan Residency e alla The Vermont Studio Center Residency.
Il suo lavoro è stato incluso in mostre collettive a New York, Chicago e Los Angeles, così come in una doppia personale a Oldenburg, in Germania.
Lei è stata una delle artiste incluse nella Rema Hort Mann Emerging Artist Nominee per il 2015.
Attualmente vive e lavora a Brooklyn.
Gretchen Scherer received a BFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with an MFA from Hunter College in 2006.
She is the recipient of a Graf travel grant to Berlin and has attended Skowhegan Residency and The Vermont Studio Center Residency.
Her work has been included in group shows in New York, Chicago, and LA, as well as a two-person show in Oldenburg, Germany.
She is a Rema Hort Mann Emerging Artist Nominee for 2015.
She currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
