Dana Zvulun è un'artista emergente cresciuta e vissuta in Tanzania per la maggior parte della sua vita, nata a Tel Aviv per puro caso. Successivamente si è trasferita nei Paesi Bassi per frequentare la Willem de Kooning Academy of Fine Arts a Rotterdam.

Il paesaggio della Tanzania è un tema costante nel suo lavoro, che si tratti della savana o della tranquilla vastità sotto la superficie dell'oceano: la natura è la base della pratica artistica di Zvulun. Ogni scultura in ceramica che realizza è un capitolo della sua vita, plasmato dalla memoria e radicato nella sua riverenza per il mondo naturale.

Zvulun sta ancora studiando alla De Kooning Academy per conseguire la laurea in Belle Arti (Bachelor’s in Fine Arts), ma nel frattempo ha completato una residenza e degli stage con Andres Anza (Monterrey, Messico) e Yuko Nishikawa (Brooklyn, New York).

Nell'ultimo anno Zvulun ha ottenuto maggiore riconoscimento, tenendo la sua prima mostra personale, "Memories of Comfort", presso Casa de la Cultura a Monterrey, in Messico (aprile 2025).

Vive e lavora a Rotterdam.

Dana Zvulun is a newly emerging artist who grew up and lived in Tanzania for most of her life, and was born in Tel Aviv by mere chance. She later moved to the Netherlands to attend the Willem de Kooning Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam.

Tanzania’s landscape is a constant theme within her work, whether it's the savannah, or the quiet vastness beneath the ocean’s surface, nature grounds Zvulun’s practice. Each ceramic sculpture she makes is a chapter of her life, shaped by memory and rooted in her reverence for the natural world.

Zvulun is still studying at the de Kooning Academy in pursuit of her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, whilst she has simultaneously completed a residency and internships with Andres Anza (Monterrey, Mexico) and Yuko Nishikawa (Brooklyn, New York).

Zvulun has been receiving more recognition within the past year, holding her first solo exhibit Memories of Comfort at Casa de la Cultura in Monterrey, Mexico (April 2025).
She lives and works in Rotterdam.
