Andrés Anza (Monterrey, Messico, 1991) ha conseguito il Bachelor of Arts presso l'Università di Monterrey nel 2014. Usa la ceramica come mezzo d’elezione per creare esseri amorfi che sembrano appartenere a un ecosistema conosciuto ma sono irriconoscibili perché derivanti da un immaginario astratto.
Il volume, il rilievo e la finitura complessa fanno sì che le opere abbiano sempre diversi angoli di osservazione; vederli è un esercizio di conoscenza e un invito a capire ciò che ci è ignoto.

Con il suo lavoro ha partecipato a numerose mostre a Monterrey, Guadalajara e Città del Messico, tra cui spiccano Emerging Art Biennial e UNAM Biennial, in cui ha ricevuto Honorable Mentions. Il suo lavoro è stato anche esposto in diverse città degli Stati Uniti.

Andrés Anza (Monterrey, Mexico, 1991) achieved his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Monterrey in 2014. He uses ceramics as a medium to create amorphous beings that seem to belong to a known ecosystem but are unrecognizable because they are extracted from the abstract imaginary.
The volume, the relief and the excessive texture require that the pieces always have different angles of appreciation; seeing them is an exercise in recognition and an invitation to understand what we do not know.
His work has participated in numerous exhibitions in Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City, among them Emerging Art Biennial and the UNAM Biennial, in which he received Honorable Mentions, stand out. His work has also been exhibited in different cities in the United States.
